Torch Cigar Bar
Desert Ridge · Phoenix, AZ
If Scottsdale's brief is the patio, Torch is the literal answer — it advertises the largest patio of any cigar bar in Arizona. Fifteen minutes northeast in Phoenix's High Street, it's the room built around the open air the desert evening was made for.
The rest keeps pace: a full bar of some two hundred spirits, a hundred whiskeys, and eight taps, with a couple hundred premium cigars to choose from. The High Street setting is modern and walkable, and the weekend hours run to 1 a.m. — late enough to make a night of it.
The Patio
The whole point. A patio at this scale changes what an evening can be — room to spread out, the desert air, a cigar that gets the space it deserves. When the temperature turns kind, there are few better seats in the Valley.
The Setup
A genuine full bar under Arizona's tobacco-retailer exemption, so the drink and the cigar share a table legally. It opens afternoons and closes late on weekends — an evening room more than a daytime shop.
Why We Picked It
Because the guide's Scottsdale note is about patios, and Torch owns that claim outright. When the plan is open air and a long ash, this is the room to point the car toward.
