Red Phone Booth

There's a red phone booth on the sidewalk downtown. Inside it, a rotary phone. Dial the number you were given — the ritual is the point — and the wall opens onto a 1920s room that has nothing to do with the street you left.

Red Phone Booth built a following in Atlanta and carried the concept city to city; the Nashville room keeps the formula that made the name. It's theater with a purpose: the entry sorts the crowd, and what's on the other side is quieter, older, and considerably more adult than Broadway.

The Room
