Highland Cigar Co.

Every city on this site has one room where the bartender knows the regulars' pours before they sit. On the Beltline side of Atlanta, this is it.

Highland Cigar Co. has held its corner of the North Highland corridor since the early 2010s, built on owner Brian Mitchell's simple philosophy: cigars, scotch, and champagne aren't for occasions — they're for Tuesdays. The room agrees. Couches, high-tops, a wall of screens, and a welcome that reviewers describe as being served in a friend's home.

The Bar

The single-malt wall is the star — more than a hundred scotches deep, with cognac, bourbon, and proper martinis and mojitos behind it, plus local craft beer and bottle service for the table nights. The wings hold their own; dinner lives in the neighborhood.

The Room

Noon opens daily — the earliest of any serious intown room — running to 2 a.m. on weekends. A walk-in humidor, private lockers for the committed, and enough screens to make it one of the best game-watching sits in the city without a stadium crowd attached.

The Neighborhood

Inman Park does the rest: walk to dinner on the restaurant row, walk back for the cigar, and let the Beltline handle the evening in between. It's the rare lounge that improves the whole night around it.
