Fellaship

The name is the Newton family's word for Sunday afternoons — the fellowshipping after church, food on the table, everyone staying longer than planned. Cam built it a room.

The quarterback and his brother C.J., Atlanta natives both, soft-launched Fellaship during Super Bowl week 2019, blocks from the stadium in Castleberry Hill: 4,600 square feet on two stories, designed by New York's Meyer Davis. Blue leather banquettes, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves with a rolling library ladder, a zinc-topped bar, and Muhammad Ali watching from the wall in black and white.

The Table

Upscale Southern, taken seriously — ponzu-glazed Scottish salmon, seafood pasta, steaks and lobster tails, wings with a subtle burn, and the flash-fried cauliflower that carries Cam's name. C.J. curates the bourbon and wine with a doorman's clarity: "if you are looking to do Tequila shots, you are in the wrong place."

The Humidor

A hundred selections leaning heavily on Top-25 alumni — Opus X Lost City, Liga Privada, Padrón, Davidoff, Ashton. Cigar Aficionado reviewed the room and called it "welcoming, escapist and upscale without being pretentious," which is the whole brief in nine words.

The Room

Live jazz and DJ sets share the calendar with game-day energy — business casual holds, but team gear rides on game days, and the stadium is a short walk. Velvet rope, valet, and hours that reward checking ahead. Sunday afternoons, fittingly, are the sleeper move.

Why We Picked It

Because a celebrity room that would still be excellent without the celebrity is rare — and this one would be. The design, the humidor, the kitchen, and the family Sunday it's named for all pull in the same direction: stay longer than planned.
