Empire Social Lounge
Brickell · Miami, FL
Little Havana rolls the cigar. Brickell built the room to smoke it in — second floor of a tower on South Miami Avenue, dressed for the occasion.
The room opened in 2016 under a different flag — Casa de Montecristo by Prime Cigar & Whiskey Bar — and took its own name, Empire Social, in 2020. The license changed; the standard didn't. This is the address Miami's after-dinner crowd has trusted for a decade, with sister rooms in Dadeland and on Las Olas.
The Bar
The whiskey list runs past 250 bottles and keeps growing — with serious tequila, rum, and cognac shelves behind it, and cocktails made with intent. Partial to your own bottle of wine? Bring it; they'll pour it properly for a corkage. It's that kind of house.
The Humidor
A proper walk-in, stocked broadly and kept right. Members get the lounge and the board room; everyone gets the good air — and an ozone closet by the door means your jacket leaves the evening behind when you do.
The Room
Smart casual, reservations on Resy, service that remembers you by the second visit. Noon to 2 a.m. most nights, 3 a.m. on weekends. If your Miami evening involves a suit — or just the wish to be treated as if you wore one — this is the address.
Why We Picked It
Because every city needs its polished room, and this is Miami's — the place where the cigar meets the whiskey list it deserves, and the evening runs as late as you need it to.
