Buena Vista Cigar Club

In a state that makes a full bar and an indoor cigar nearly impossible to have in the same room, Buena Vista pulls it off. On Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills, it's one of the few LA lounges where the drink is poured for you and the smoke is legal indoors.

Cuban-born owner Rigo Fernandez runs it in the old key — a gentleman's-club aesthetic, an upstairs of deep leather armchairs and couches, and the unhurried air of a room that's seen a few decades of Beverly Hills evenings. No membership required; just come in and sit.

The Bar

A genuine full bar with a strong whiskey and spirits program — the reason to choose this room over a BYOB shop. Sports on the TVs, a long pour, and doors open to 2 a.m. make it the late Beverly Hills option when you don't want the night to end.
